In this time of Thanksgiving we must start our weekly update by saying, "Thank You."

Thank you to our team members for showing up each day to care for our residents. For going above and beyond for the past nine months. Thank you for taking precautions at work and in your personal lives to help keep our residents and your coworkers safe. We are proud of our team.

Thank you to our residents who have shown such resilience and support. Thank you for being a constant joy for our teams.

Thank you to friends and family for your support and understanding. We know that these precautions have been hard, and that you miss visiting your loved one. We miss you as well.

We are also very thankful at hearing good news in the production of a vaccine and the efforts to prioritize those in healthcare and senior living. We are hopeful that this means we can see you all in our communities, hugging your loved ones, again soon.

Since our last communication we have received positive test results from five additional residents and two additional staff members, bringing our total to 7 residents and 6 staff members with positive results.

The employees remain off campus until cleared to return to work under CDC guidelines. Primary contacts for the residents have been personally notified. All residents are currently being cared for under isolation precautions.

We will continue with routine monitoring of all residents and notify primary contacts directly if their family member exhibits symptoms or receives positive test results.

We are scheduling virtual and closed window visits. Connect with the community Life Enrichment Director to schedule a visit.

Resident and staff safety is our top priority, including staying in very close communication with the local health authority and state licensing officials. Please know that we have been and are continuing to strictly adhere to all infection control protocols and mandated guidelines. We want you to know that we will continue to take every precaution to prevent the spread of infection.
